His studies focus on the molecular mechanisms of HDACi antitumor effects and the pathophysiology of the liver with specific interests in understanding the mechanism underlying the development of metabolic syndromes, fatty liver, fibrosis, cirrhosis, and liver cancer. The goal is to identify potential therapeutic targets in the prevention and treatment of liver disease.
